"DX IS!"
This ham radio family started out in the 1950s as just two young friends who eventually married sisters. Over time one of the wives, a daughter (who is also the other's niece) and her husband all became licensed operators. In 1998 they each assumed a DID vanity call and the rest is history...
We're spread across the states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Maryland but our love of ham radio keeps us connected.

That’s Deanna back in 1986 when she was first licensed. If you look closely, you can see she is holding a photo of her Uncle Ben and her father, Ron. It seems that when you are a ham radio operator you suddenly have the urge make silly faces while wearing red and white striped shirts, and hats just don’t sit straight on your head.
